what is skel's client?

skel's client is a minecraft "client" (modpack) running on fabric that takes the standard vanilla experience and enhances it, whilst making sure to not overdo it and keep things simple!

okay, what does it do?

you already know that this modpack enhances the vanilla experience, i hope. you did read the introduction, right? anyhow, this modpack adds a variety of mods that boost your gameplay and just make things feel a little nicer! i've attached the modpack's main selling point AND a full list of all mods that come with skel's client! take a look for yourself!

the selling point

fully client sided

enjoy zero conflicts with vanilla servers, as this modpack primarily focuses on compatibility with many minecraft servers (primarily towards SMPs) alongside working well with the Essential mod.

essential support

this modpack comes with Essential, a minecraft mod capable of allowing your friends to join your minecraft worlds without the hassle of setting up a server easily! each mod has been picked out with the primary focus of compatibility with Essential, so enjoy playing with your friends, no matter the client!

(note: this has been tested with skel's client hosting the world. if your friend is hosting a world on a modded client that may cause conflicts with joining their world, i cannot be of any assistance.)

controller support

maybe you're not that type of person to play on a keyboard and mouse, i get that! or, maybe you're using a steam deck or something similar... either way, this modpack has controller support via the Controlify mod! customise it to your liking

a minimal, but helpful HUD

i've hand picked a couple mods that adds some useful info to your screen, like coordinates, block tooltips and mob health bars! best of all, it's minimal and decently customisable to your own liking!

organise your worlds freely

choose how you want to organise your worlds with folders, sections and separators! the interface is easy to understand and makes your world selection screen a little nicer for you. :D

best of all, you're in control!

with skel's client, it's your choice on what you want to customise! want to turn off coordinates UI? go for it. want to change how your F3 menu looks? yeah, you can do that! hell, do you want to change when the in-game music plays?! yeah, you can do that too!

don't get too comfortable though, you can't redistribute this modpack and claim it as your own. that would be silly, no? haha, really though have fun with it! this was a fun mini project to work on and i'd love to see people satisfied with it! if you wish, do show some love to the project by liking the skel's client page!
